Beginning in January 2009, Cognex is making significant changes to the portfolio of lights that we offer. The changes consist of three components: vendor consolidation, proactive portfolio management, and better stocking visibility.

Cognex will continue to work with our strategic lighting vendors: CCS, Advanced Illumination, Smart Vision Lights, Stocker & Yale, and Volpi. However, as of March 1st we will no longer offer Scott/Fostec, Spectrum, Techniquip, or Waldmann lights and accessories. Please note that Cognex also recently discontinued offering Siemens NER products, in conjunction with the acquisition by Microscan.
